General Director
• Provide overall strategic leadership and direction for the organization. • Oversee all departments to ensure efficient performance and goal achievement. • Implement government policies, regulations, and development plans. • Approve budgets, major projects, and operational frameworks. • Represent the organization in national and international meetings. • Ensure transparency, accountability, and good governance. • Evaluate performance of directors and senior staff. • Make high-level decisions to support sustainable growth and public service delivery.
IT Director
Lead and manage all information technology systems and digital infrastructure. Develop and implement IT policies, security standards, and procedures. Oversee software development, databases, networks, and cybersecurity. Ensure secure data storage, backup, and disaster recovery processes. Manage IT projects, upgrades, and technology modernization initiatives. Provide technical guidance to departments for digital transformation. Supervise IT staff and allocate technology resources efficiently. Ensure continuous system availability and user support.
Human resources Director
Oversee recruitment, selection, and hiring of staff. Develop HR policies, rules, and employee performance systems. Manage training, capacity building, and professional development programs. Handle employee relations, contracts, benefits, and compensation. Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational regulations. Lead performance evaluations and promotion processes. Address workplace issues, discipline, and conflict resolution. Maintain accurate HR records and workforce planning.
Oversight of 50+ state enterprises across multiple sectors, employing over 100,000 nationals and contributing significantly to GDP.
Modernization and expansion of mandate to include corporate governance reforms and strategic oversight.
Formal establishment of the Directorate to oversee growing state enterprises in industrial and commercial sectors.
Renamed to Mataba Darul Sultanah during the reign of Amir Abdul Rahman Khan, expanding publishing operations.
Establishment of Mataba Azadi Amroza and publication of the first newspaper Shams Nahar during the reign of Amir Sher Ali Khan.
